Most people, of any religious denomination, are not well versed in their scriptures. They get their knowledge from their religious leaders. These religious leaders interprete the scriprures based on their worldly experiences, their own attitude and context. The essential philosophy of the particular religion doesn't change but its practices vary quite a bit. The religious leaders, over time, evolve societal structures, customs and traditions which control society from too much deviations from the essential philosophy.
Since Sanaatan has no beginning, it has got plenty of time in which its religious leaders [Rishis/ Munis/ Scientists] have created many structures, customs & traditions that guide common people. It is time tested and has served the society quite well, for most part, except in one area, where it has gone weak that is in its own protection. The first two aspects of sanaatan society - philosophy and structures/ pillars are shown below. The third aspect "customs & traditions" are also listed in the table below but these are described under its own tenet called "Customs & Traditions".
Sanaatan Sansthan conducted many live sessions on these topics and the links to these recordings are at Sanaatan Contents on Social Media
